This is the ideal trip for those who prefer an in-depth Western Europe experience. Enjoy a fast Eurostar train ride from London to Paris, a special welcome dinner with wine at a fine Parisian restaurant, and ascend the Eiffel Tower to the second floor. Stops are made in the Principality of Liechtenstein, in Innsbruck, Austria, in romantic Rothenburg, and in Cologne. In Heidelberg, enjoy a visit of the castle. Finally, a scenic cruise on the Rhine River is included. Two nights stays in London, Paris, Lucerne, Munich, and in Amsterdam include guided sightseeing tours. Also stay two nights at the Rhine River, where a Riesling wine tasting has been included.

Meet your Tour Director and travelling companions and transfer from the railway station to board the EUROSTAR TRAIN to Paris, the splendid capital of a beautiful country. This evening, you may wish to join an optional dinner at a local restaurant followed by an illumination drive of the city. |
| 2 | PARIS. Discover the world capital of chic and style with a Local Guide and admire its most famous sights: the Opera, Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Elysees, Notre Dame Cathedral, and more. For a bird's-eye view, take the elevator to the second floor of the EIFFEL TOWER. An optional excursion to the lavish baroque Palace of Versailles is available. Tonight, a lively cabaret show might just be the ticket. (B) |
| 3 | PARIS - LUCERNE, SWITZERLAND. A comfortable ride on the highway skirting Fontainebleau Forest and the vineyards of Burgundy to the Swiss border. Enjoy vistas of the Alps as you enter picture-book Lucerne. (B,D) |

During your walking tour, admire Thorwaldsen's LION MONUMENT and the ornate patrician houses lining the cobbled streets of the walled Old Town, then cross the famous covered CHAPEL BRIDGE to the Jesuit Church. Afterwards, shop for Swiss watches and choose from our optional activities: climb a mountain by cable car, take a cruise on the fjord-like lake, or join a folklore party with yodeling and alphorn blowing.
