Warning: Now’s the time to book your Christmas Travel

Australian and New Zealand travellers looking to head overseas this Christmas are being urged to arrange their holiday (cruise, flights, accommodation) sooner rather than later to avoid fare hikes or to avoid missing out completely due to strong demand.
A strong increase in searches and bookings for travel over the Christmas / New Year period, as well as rumbles in the Industry indicating prices are on the rise has shown that demand is growing. What this means to the consumer is that if holiday providers such as cruise lines, airlines and accommodation providers are able to fill their capacity they will be able to charge more as the season approaches.
A leading travel spokesperson has urged;”If you are planning on going away over the Christmas break and find a great travel bargain, snap it up now – because by the time you go back a week later to check the price, chances are the airfare has increased or the Christmas holiday package has no availability on your travel dates.”
Cruisepilot’s top selling destinations for Christmas are: South Pacific, European Christmas River Cruise, Hawaii, Singapore and New Zealand.
