Final Full Day on the Oasis of the Seas

Our last day on the ‘Oasis of the Seas’ has been nothing short of spectacular. Over the past 3 days we’ve tried to experienced everything this amazing ship has to offer and in spite of our best efforts we still haven’t been able to see it all.
Today we checked out the 600-seated AquaTheatre to watch a spectacular high diving and synchronised swimming performance. Being positioned at the back of the ship with the back drop of the Ocean, the show was indeed the mesmerising and dazzling spectacle it was promised to be. Personally, I was amazed at the heights the performers dived from, but I suppose the pool is the deepest pool at sea – at 17.9 feet!
After checking out the Spa and Fitness area – “Vitality at Sea” with it’s 158 state of the art cardio and resistant machines and various weight areas and fitness studios and grabbing a bite to eat at the spa’s healthy eating café, we decided a bit of r&r was in order. On to the ice rink in the entertainment area!
Today’s show was based around classic ‘Hans Christian Anderson’ tales like ‘The Ugly Duckling’ – stories familiar to children worldwide. The skaters were World Champions which clearly showed in the quality of their performance.
We have been clearly impressed with all aspects of our experience on board ‘Oasis of the Seas” particularly with the level of service, the quality and quantity of the amenities and by the ships sheer size. Despite their being nearly 6,000 guests and 3,000 staff we didn’t once feel crowded or penned in. There are just so many different places to go, things to see and activities to keep anyone occupied!
It’s truly an experience not to miss!
