Amaverde Joins APT

APT has announced the name of its newest river cruise vessel which will join its European fleet next year. Amaverde will be similar to her sister-ship Amabella which is due to launch in May this year. Both ships will hold 148 passengers and feature twin balconies, a swimming pool and boast the ‘largest suites on the rivers’.
For those wishing to find the real Europe, a river cruise is an ideal way to experience, the sights, sounds and people of the region. People are realising this fact and river cruising as a result is experiencing a huge grow in numbers, so much in fact that APT GM Debra Fox has reported that the company’s 2010 itineraries are solidly booked. “We’re taking registrations for 2011, such is the demand for this cruise product,” she added.

On the 30/8/2011 we completed a 14 day cruise on the Amaverde from Amsterdam to Budapest and what a great time we had. My wife and I could not be more pleased with the quaility of the rooms and the service from all the staff. We would highly recommend this ship and APT should anyone be thinking of doing this cruise.
